Mozart´s Birthhouse
The house „Getreidegasse Nr. 9“ was the residence of the Mozart family from 1747 to 1773, and on 27th January 1756 Wolfgang Amadeau Mozart was born here. Today the flat of the Mozart family is a museum showing famous exhibits such as the first violins of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, his clavicord, portraits and letters of the Mozart family.
This museum is now a cultural centre attracting thousands of visitors from all over the world every year.
